DEFORMITY CORRECTION FOR PAEDIATRIC WRIST FRACTURE BY K WIRING
A 13 years old male child sustained fracture distal end radius,which was initially treated by above elbow cast but after 1 month of treatment, fracture was healing in malunion with unacceptable angulation in xray.
So, he was operated by closed reduction ( Osteoclasis) and k wiring under c arm guidance by Dr Pankaj Kumar.
Paediatric wrist of metaphyseal zone should be monitored regularly as it is prone to go for malunion or deformity .
If Deformity is unacceptable, it shoild be corrected by closed/ open reduction and fixation by K wiring under c arm guidance.
