93 years old male suffered left hip fracture (fracture neck of femur) following slip and fall at home.
Xray was done,which showed fracture neck of femur, He was operated at Max Super Speciality Hospital,sector 128,Noida after anesthesia clearance.
He was operated with Cemented modular Bipolar hemi arthroplasty by Dr Pankaj kumar.
Next day,he was made to sit and stand with walker.
Considering his old age,rehabilitation has been started and he is recovering well.
He had similar history of fall 2 years back and sustained Right hip fracture,that time also,he was operated by Dr Pankaj Kumar with cemented Bipolar hemi arthroplasty and he was doing well before latest fall.
Fracture in geriatric patients are mostly due to osteoporosis and very challenging to manage.
