A young male suffering from left knee ACL injury following a road accident (bike skid) visited Dr Pankaj Ortho centre.
He was examined and diagnosis was confirmed by MRI, He was operated with ARTHROSCOPIC ACL RECONSTRUCTION SURGERY at Apollo Hospital Noida by Dr Pankaj Kumar.
ACL reconstruction is usually done using Hamstring (Semitendinosus and Gracilis) graft from patient ,in some cases Peroneus Longus or Patellar tendon graft is used, Graft augmentation is done by internal brace by Fibre Tape or Jewel graft,
Post surgery, rehabilitation is started and patient achieves good range of motion with stability of knee by 4 weeks.
