92 years old lady from Noida,underwent successfully Right hip surgery (PFN) for fracture Trochanter following slip and fall at home. Unfortunately,She had undergone left hip Surgery (PFN) for fracture Trochanter left side also, last year.Both surgeries were performed by me and i made her walk with walker next day.
She recovered well and was pain free and walked without any support after 6 weeks of surgery.
Fracture around hip and spine are very common in old osteoporotic post menopausal females,care should by taken to avoid such fracture as it becomes challenging for surgeons.
